Challenge

The American Academy of Physician Assistants wished to expand the reach of their five-day Annual Meeting, which attracts approximately 17,000 attendees.

Solution

Using our PresentME OnDemand Webcasting Platform, our veteran team traveled onsite to Webcast and podcast approximately 200 hours of presentations over a five-day period.  Lectures included AAPA’s “State-of-the-Science” lecture series, multiple pharmaceutical-sponsored “Product Theaters” (Webcast live and then converted to ondemand format), and satellite symposia.  The Webcasts were produced onsite within 24 hours and then streamed via a seamless link on the AAPA Website.  The podcasts were distributed on the Web via an e-commerce system and on pre-purchased Apple iPod MP3 players. The iPods were engraved pre-event with the AAPA commerative logo.
